The Reverend Victoria Eldridge

Minister of Chalmers Presbyterian Church



Prior to being called to Chalmers in May of 2006, Vicky was the minister of West Flamboro Presbyterian Church from February 1999 - May 2006. She obtained her B.A. (Honours) from York University in 1991 and her Master of Divinity from Knox College in 1998. She was an English as a Second Language instructor for the Simcoe County School Board from 1992 - 1995. She currently uses her study leave time for a Doctor of Ministry program at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.

Vicky is an active member of the Presbytery and has experienced life as an Interim Moderator. She also carries on an active ministry at St. Joseph’s Villa. She was a Volunteer Chaplain and Student Chaplain in Toronto and Alliston. Prior to entering the ministry, she was an active member of the Presbyterian churches in Tottenham and Thornhill.

Vicky lives in Dundas with her mother Alison and her adopted daughter Maria. Maria, who was born in Bulgaria, was three when she arrived in Canada in December of 2004. Vicky enjoys playing tennis and reading mysteries when time permits.
